Dear Friends,

I know you’ve told me that you don’t want to appear as a character in any of my books. But how can I resist?

I admit I like graffiti. I see it as a form of innovation, creativity and art.

When you tell them to think outside the box, you’re crippling their creativity.

I set aside my manuscript for two years. Bad move. I convinced myself I was too busy to work on it.

Ugh! I fell asleep while reading my own manuscript. :-(

Some journeys are far shorter than others, but are no less meaningful.

I was in college. My professor gave a writing assignment: Describe yourself.

He’s right. Let me explain.

One evening while on the road, I finished my work early. I had time on my hands, but I was too tired to write. Too tired to work. Too lazy to work out. So I turned to my favorite source of entertainment: Netflix.

My wife and I just took our 18-year-old daughter to Beijing for Spring Break. You wouldn’t believe the response we received from just about everyone when we told them our plans.
